Right now it remains unclear if One Direction‘s hearthrob Harry Styles is looking to transition to a solo career, however if he was there’s no one better in the world to help than hip-hop mogul Jay Z. In a recent interview, Jay Z stated he could make Harry Styles “the biggest artist in the world within a year.”

At the end of last year it was revealed that Styles had written four new songs registered under his own name rather than One Direction. Since then there’s been no word on if he would indeed go solo, however according to Jay Z he absolutely should.
In an interview with the Daily Sunday Star, the Roc Nation CEO said, “Harry doesn’t need any help with exposure; everybody in the world knows who he is,” he continued, “But he does need to make the transition from being part of a group to becoming an individual artist.”
If and when Styles does decide to make that move, Jay Z wants to help. He said, “I can get him working with the bigger artists, the biggest producers – and have him as the biggest artist in the world within a year.”
Fellow rapper 50 cent said, sung similar praises of former 1D band member, Zayn Malik. Offering to take Malik under his wing 50 said, “If Zayn wants a rap career, just because of who he is, he is going to sell records,” adding, “But if he wants to be credible he has to be with the right people. I’d happily sign him up to my label, mentor him and have him working with the biggest rappers on the planet.”
