Back in October, Kanye West auditioned for ‘American Idol’ in San Francisco. Fans were only able to see a couple clips of the rapper’s audition in a commercial for the new season, however today, Ye’s full audition has surfaced.
During the audition we can see a different side of Kanye as he stands in front of judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, and Harry Connick Jr. He starts off, “I always wanted to rap but nobody believed in me,” he jokes, adding, “I just wanted to do something original. It has one of the judges names in it.”
He goes on to spit his hit record ‘Gold Digger’ and the judges (especially J.Lo) were loving it. Check out the video below.
