Beyonce has a new goal in mind, even after all her success. She wants to win an Oscar. We know of Bey’s previous work as an actress starring in the movies Obsessed, Austin Powers, Dreamgirls and so on and so forth. Although they were hit movies, Queen Bey still feels she is not taken as serious as an actress as she is a musician. So what do you if you have all the tools and power as such a Beyonce? Remember when Kim Kardashian broke the internet over a year ago with that photo of her popping a bottle of champagne over her head and into a glass that was standing on her butt? That was in memoriam of vintage freak-show performer from the 1800’s, Saartjie Baartman. (The woman with the world’s largest NATURAL rear end).
Beyonce has decided to write the movie about Baartman’s butt and life to hopefully win her the Oscar award she has been craving for so many years. She has hired a team of acting coaches and script writers to put together an unforgettable film that will hopefully be Bey’s breakthrough role into Hollywood actress notoriety.
The woman Saartjie was from South Africa and would perform under the name Hottentot Venus. Allegedly, Venus (Saartjie Baartman) was made to perform against her will, which led to a court case that she lost.
A Hollywood source spilled:
“Beyonce is desperate to be taken seriously as an actress. Even though she’s had a string of well-received movies, she still feels her breakthrough role is yet to come. She now wants to write a screenplay that gains her respect — and hopefully awards — from the film industry, and thinks Saartjie’s story could be her ticket.”
Bey has reportedly ordered numerous books on Saartjie’s life to make sure she gets every detail correct.
“Winning an Academy Award would mean everything to her, and she’s a woman who is used to getting exactly what she wants.”
Well we will just have to wait and see!
