Imagine going out to eat at a five star restaurants and finding a dead rat in your food. That’s what happened to a French woman when she was having brunch at the Plaza Hotel in New York this week. Eloise Faux was the young lady who found the dead rodent in her food and wanted an explanation. NYPD and the ambulance were called after she found the rat in her food but the manager of the restaurant said it wasn’t a dead rat it was a cranberry. Now since when do baby rats and cranberries look anything alike? Check out the rest of the story after the jump.

Eloise Faux and the rest of her dining party were taken in an ambulance to Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. Plaza security footage viewed by The Post shows the uncle, who was dining with her, handing his plate to Eloise, and Eloise then secreting the plate under the table for several seconds before handing it back. Hmmmm….that’s sketchy if you ask me.

The incident has been investigating says a spokesperson for the Plaza Hotel.

“This situation has been thoroughly investigated, and it is unequivocally a meritless claim.”
