Last night, Charles Woodson played his final home game ever for the Oakland Raiders and it was an emotional evening all around. One of the greatest defensive players in history was playing in front of the home crowd for the last time before his retirement that will come when the season is over. Woodson grabbed the mic after the game and talked to the crowd one last time. His teammates even went as far as to dump the gatorade bucket on him, saluting him on his hall of fame career.

Some of Woodson’s career highlights include being the only player in NFL history with at least 50 interceptions and 20 sacks. He is tied for 2nd all time, with 11 interceptions being returned for touchdowns. He also is still the only defensive player ever to win the Heisman trophy in college as. He was defensive player of the year in 2009 and rookie of the year in 1998 as well.
