Last week ahead of the Lakers/Thunder game in OKC, superstars Kevin Durant & Kobe Bryant found time to grab a casual dinner together. The Thunder wound up destroying the Lakers the next day, which prompted Lakers coach Byron Scott to say his younger stars like D’Angelo Russell & Julius Randle were scared. Fast forward to this past Wednesday and the Lakers & Thunder got together once again & once again the Thunder destroyed the Lakers. This time the two big stars got together after the game, as they traded sneakers and Kobe wrote KD a personal message.

Players usually swap jersey’s with each other but KD & Kobe decided to do things a little different. With Kobe’s career coming to an end soon, the opportunity to get game worn kicks from him won’t be around much longer.
When reporters asked KD about the trade after the game, he replied “Yeah. Yeah, don’t tell nobody, though,” Durant said when asked about the exchange. “I don’t want to be looked at as a softie.”
Kobe had a very special, yet simple message to his friend: “To KD, Be The Greatest”
