In a new interview with Yahoo!, Tyga had some interesting quotables about his floundering rap career, namely that he’s only doing this to “sit with the Gods.” As the piece’s writer notes, T-Raww hasn’t had a viable hit since 2011’s “Rack City,” and if he’d like to be known as something other than “Kylie Jenner‘s boyfriend,” he might want to get to it. Yeah, you’re sitting with Ye…but your skills on the mic certainly haven’t gotten you there.

Tyga‘s not worried, though:

“Even though so many people are doing music, I still feel like what I do is not comparable. It can’t be duplicated. When you start looking at all the other people, that’s you losing your faith in what you’re supposed to do.”

It was then he made note of the aforementioned 2011 hit, and discussed the God-like seating chart:

“Everything that I’ve done to this point doesn’t even matter. When I hear ‘Rack City,’ it doesn’t even matter. I’m only doing this to sit with the gods. There’s no other way I see it for myself.”
