Yesterday video of Meek Mill boxing went viral around social media and the jokes flew. Many noted that Meek didn’t look very athletic and his punches looked pretty weak. Well now we have the opinion of an actual professional boxer and he wasn’t too kind either.
Former WBO middleweight champion Peter “Kid Chocolate” Quillin, linked up with TMZ Sports and gave his opinion on Meek Mill’s boxing video.
Quillin said that Meek didn’t look very good and also that happens with most amateurs on video but noted that he trains Swizz Beatz and he does look good.
“He’s not hitting hard and not putting his hands back on his chin. He’s punching from his waist and that’s not a good idea to punch from your waist because you’re leaving your chin exposed,” Quillin said.
Quillin was asked what advice he would give Meek if he were to end up in a fight in jail (Meek is awaiting sentencing for a probation violation). “I think he’s better off going back and getting his gun,” said Quillin.
As you know Meek has spent time in jail already, hopefully he doesn’t have to go back but if he does, it seems like he’ll be just fine.
