With the success of his studio album ‘Purpose’ Justin Bieber has been making headlines consistently. His smash hit “What Do You Mean?” went double platinum and he’s also broken Spotify’s first week streaming record! And now it looks like he can add another one to that list, because he’s done it again!

JB has set a new Official Singles Chart record with his song “Love Yourself” on the Official Charts Company top songs list. With about 102,000 copies sold, the song that was co-written by Ed Sheeran and produced by Benny Blanco takes the No.1 spot on the charts. And Bieber’s single “Sorry.” holds the No. 2 spot.

Being that these two songs held both the No.1 and No. 2 top spots consecutively for four weeks, has made it possible for the artist to set a new record.

Before Bieber , this was done by the Beatles. The Beatles healed the same two top spots in 1967-1968 with “Hello, Goodbye” and their EP Magical Mystery Tour for three weeks.
