LeBron James will go down as one of the best basketball players in the history of the NBA, he inked a lifetime deal with Nike, partnered with Warner Bros for a production company and has numerous endorsements.  The one thing he seems to be missing (sometimes) is his hairline.  Jokes about LeBron James’ hairline are abundant as his headbands got bigger and his hairline seems to come and go at random.  One minute it’s there looking full and perfectly lined, and another minute it’s receding.  Fans and James himself have joked about his hairline and his teammate J.R. Smith of course weighed in.

During an in depth interview with GQ magazine, Devin Friedman asked Smith about James’ hairline.

“I tell him you can’t have everything,” J.R. says. “You have to give up one thing, and it just so happened it’s your hair. If someone told me I’m gonna give you $600 million but I’m going to take your hair? Take my hair!”

For what it’s worth, LeBron’s personal barber recently insisted that there were no shenanigans going on where his most famous client’s hairline is concerned.

“There is no dye,” he told Yahoo! Sports. “No additives. No preservatives. Everyone thinks he’s dying his hair using [temporary hair colorings] Bigen or Black Ice. It’s all his hair. They still don’t believe me. I get Bigen comments all the time. I’ve become numb to it. It used to bother me. It’s not easy to hear that.”
