Chance The Rapper hit the stage yesterday on SNL, in which he performed a brand new song that features Chicago legend R. Kelly and R&B superstar Jeremih. Hit the jump for more.
Chance’s new track is called Somewhere in Paradise, and it sounds like a typical amazing Chance track. The Chicago rapper is different than most rappers in the game right now, as his newer tracks are very happy, with positive messages. Songs I can see myself playing for years to come taking my kids to soccer practice.
It is also great for a current Chicago star to collaborate with the legendary Chicago R&B singer R. Kelly for the track. R. Kelly wasn’t at SNL for the performance, but the official track with him on it sounds great. And we can’t forget Jeremih, who never seems to disappoint on features.
Chance is reportedly gearing up to drop a follow up to Acid Rap, and if the new project sounds like this, many of fans will most likely be pleased. He also performed Sunday Candy off his collaboration album with Donnie Trumpet called Surf.
