This years brings with it a lot of new stoner trends. It even looks like most of them are here to stay. For stoners, this brings in a new and exciting time in the world of smoking. Not only does THC come in new forms, you can smoke in new ways. Below please find just a handful of these devices and some complements to aid enjoying them:
- eCig/vaporizer pen A possible long-term replacement for the one hitter, the eCig can be packed with pot just as easily as e-juice. It blends into the crowd as just another nicotine pen. Please note that though it looks like a nicotine pen, it will still smell like weed… You can even modify pieces of it to suit your smoking needs; same goes for the next suggestion!
- vaporizer Shockingly, some stoners have never smoked weed out of a vaporizer. It gives you the same effect as a blunt with much less smell and a much stronger hit. Not only does a vaporizer require less weed to hit just as hard but it will also double for smoking dabs/THC wax. (Wax is wayyyy more potent that weed, so please take a lot of care if you choose this route.)
- Added bonus: a vaporizer will smell like burnt popcorn after use- not weed.
- Warning: your housemates might come in wondering if you’re having a microwave fire.
- munchies Show your stoner how well you know them by buying their favorite smoking snack! (Usually) low budget, and high brownie points!
- light toys While your stoner sits on the couch enjoying their high, they can watch a beautiful and automated light show- courtesy of you! Hours of entertainment. No, like seriously though.
- fragrances From candles and incense to Febreeze and odor eaters, this is one gift you can find in almost any bodega. Pick yours or your stoner’s favorite scent! You can get seasonal with it (maple sugar or pine) or keep it classic (roses or patchouli.)
- blacklight posters This accomplished the same end as light toys.
Granted, a lot of other gifts exist: beaded curtains, good music, bowls, bongs, papers, Dutchmasters just to name a few. If your favorite stoner prefers one of these, by all means get that. But, the above devices might open a whole new world of pleasure to your pothead.
