Cam Newton was originally crucified for dabbin but now news anchors and even NFL team owners are doing it. Both the Carolina Panthers’ owner and New York Jets’ owner were both dabbin after their teams won this past Sunday.
The Panthers beat the Saints 41-38 on Sunday, not only staying undefeated at 12-0 but they also won the NFC South for the third consecutive year. Following the game they celebrated in the locker room. They brought in their 79-year old owner Jerry Richardson. Cam Newton told Richardson that everyone wants to see him dab to which he obliged.
The Jets also defeated their inner-city rivals, the Giants 23-20 in overtime on Sunday, keeping their chances of winning the Wild Card spot in the playoffs alive. Jets owner Woody Johnson joined them in the locker room and hit the dab as well.
