Not many people believe Lebron actually drives Kia’s, even though he has a very lucrative deal with the car company. In a new commercial, the company and the King got creative and put a playful twist on that assumption. Someone tweeted that they bet $10,000,000 that Lebron never drives Kia’s to games so Bron set out to prove that person wrong and come collect that $10 mil!

Truth is, Lebron really does drive his Kia K900 but he is allowed to drive other cars as well. He does have a very expensive collection of Ferrari’s, Bentley’s and so on so you have to expect him to give those a spin as well.
Michael Sprague, chief operating officer at Kia Motors America, told The Wall Street Journal: “LeBron is all about being authentic. We are confident we can take the playful approach and prove this is an authentic partnership.”
ESPN reported at the time it was signed that the deal didn’t require James to drive the vehicle exclusively.
A source says the deal requires James to show up at Cavaliers games in the car. It’s much like Tiger Woods’ old Buick deal, which required the golfer to show up at events in the car brand.
The deal does not, however, require James to drive only the K900. He has a car collection with more than 20 cars that has included a Lamborghini, Porsche, Ferrari, Maybach and Rolls-Royce.
Even if he does drive it only to events and games, because of who Lebron is that means he spends more time in his Kia than any other ride. Still a win for the company.
