It seems like everyone enjoys Young Thug these days. Now you can add legendary singer-songwriter Elton John to the list. In a recent interview, Elton John says that he loves Young Thug, and even compares him to John Lennon! Hit the jump for more.
Thugger has recieved many co-signs from some of the top rappers in the game, but this co-sign is bigger than any of them. Legendary Sir Elton John says he’s a fan! Yes, the guy that has 300 million records sold, and seven consecutive No. 1 US albums.
While doing an interview with Noisey, the legendary singer said he heard a Young Thug song on British radio and really liked it. “I love all of that, it’s unexpected,” Sir Elton said of Thugger.
Elton didn’t stop there. He goes on to compare Young Thug to John Lennon from The Beatles!
I remember when Blind Faith came out, with a nude girl and John [Lennon] & Yoko, you had to buy it in a black plastic bag. And you should be able to do things like that but we don’t live in that kind of world anymore.
Damn, rappers be struggling for a Nas or Jay-Z co-sign. Thugger went and got a Sir Elton John co-sigh. He’s really winning.
