Stephen Curry and Cam Newton are both dominating in their respective sports. Their teams are undefeated and both men are leading the MVP conversations. Originating from North Carolina, Curry is a huge Carolina Panthers fan and has attended their games and linked up with Newton. Newton repaid the favor sort’ve, as the Hornets took on the Golden State Warriors in Charlotte.
Newton stilled donned a Hornets jersey but it was that of Dell Curry, Stephen Curry’s father.
Newton sat in his courtside seat and watched as Curry dropped 40 points through just THREE quarters (he sat out the fourth with the Warriors big lead). The Warriors beat the Hornets 116-99 to go up 20-0, tying the best beginning to any season in the history of the four major professional sports with the 1884 Maroons.
The Warriors have a chance to break the record if they beat the Toronto Raptors on Saturday.
The Panthers remain undefeated as well at 11-0 and will face the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.
The two linked up after to the game, talked and exchanged hugs.
