Bobby Shmurda coming home this week, or nah?
According to TMZ, Bobby’s legal team has worked overtime with his family in an attempt to free the 21-year-old from prison. Since L.A. Reid, Epic Records head honcho, decided a long time ago not to give up the cash for the rapper’s release, his family stepped in to put up collateral. The legal team put together a 200-page document that shows multiple properties his aunt used to make sure the “Hot N*gga” artist comes home for the holidays.

“We seriously don’t make the money we used to make. That’s a fact of life. Bobby Shmurda is not the same as Snoop Dogg and Murder Was the Case, who’s coming off The Chronic and his first album. It’s a different era, ya know? And, we’re a publicly held corporation. We just aren’t in the same position we were in back in those days. So, it’s a different day,” L.A. Reid said about his reasoning for not giving up the $2 million.
