It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything from Iggy Azalea, however the Australian rapper came back from her social media hiatus to respond to the shade thrown her way by Erykah Badu at this year’s Soul Train Awards. Badu fired shots at Iggy in a pretend phone call saying, “Oh, no, no, no, no, you can come,” adding, “‘Cause what you doin’ is definitely not rap.”
In her first twitter rant in over a month, Iggy Azalea addresses Erykah Bada, and then gives fans an update on her music. Hit the jump for more.
Iggy starts off her rant tweeting, “[I] know it’s been a while,” she continued, “We are days from 2016, but i came online today and saw its still cool to try and discredit my 2014 accomplishments. LOL, fucking hell.”
She rounds out her statement giving fans an update on her music, saying that it is finished, however, she’s just working on technicalities, such as living in America but is being signed out of the UK. She wrote, “Things are complicated.”
