Unfortunately for Love & Hip-Hop: New York star Mendeecees Harris, it looks like he will be spending the next few years behind bars.

He has been sentenced to eight years for his troubled past in drug trafficking after he pleaded guilty back in April.

He was out on bond and had an agreement that all of the money he made from the VH1 show and club appearances goes straight to the federal government.

He has now finally been sentenced just after tying the knot with Yandy Smith and having their second child together.

Our prayers are with the Harris family during this very difficult time. One could only imagine how difficult it is going to be for Yandy to raise her two children, Omere and Skylar, along with Mendeecees’ son from a past relationship without the father present.
