As you know Cam Newton hit the “dab” in the endzone after a touchdown and it unjustly started a firestorm of think pieces and controversy. Some people thought he showed unsportsmanlike conduct and his “pelvic thrusts” were inappropriate. Well Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce “hit the quan” (with significantly more pelvic thrusts) after scoring this past Sunday and not a peep was made. ESPN’s Robert Flores appeared on SportsCenter on Monday morning and boldly spoke out, saying it was because Cam’s black.
“Wondering why there’s no letters to the editor, or why First Take‘s not doing ‘Should Travis Kelce be dancing in the end zone?'” Flores asked. “They didn’t. I wonder why they’re not doing that … oh because he’s not black.”
