NBA: Houston Rockets at New York Knicks

Welp it was bound to happen… Knicks rookie Kristaps Porzingis has been putting just about every big man on a poster so far this season but on Sunday night it was his turn.

During overtime of the Houston Rockets 116-111 comeback win over the Knicks, Marcus Thornton thew up an alley-oop, Porzingis went up to contest the dunk but Dwight Howard finished with the poster of the night.

“He dunked on me; he got me. I was asking [my teammates], ‘When is the next game against Houston? I want to get him back,’” Porzingis said with a grin. “You know, it happens. He’s a great player. I’m looking forward to playing next time against him.”

It its any consolation, Porzingis won on the stat sheet, recording his 8th double-double of the season with 20 points and 13 rebounds.  Howard finished with 14 points and 6 rebounds.
