In case you weren’t aware, funny lady Tracee Ellis Ross, who’s currently staring in ABC’s hit show Black-ish is the daughter of the legendary Diana Ross. Last week, during a performance at the Las Vegas’ Venetian Theater, Diana Ross called her daughter up to the stage to sing her record ‘Lady Sings The Blues’.
Tracee surprised the audience, when she revealed not only is she hilarious and a tremendous actress, but she inherited a beautiful set of pipes from her mother. Check out the performance below.
Tracee Ellis Ross shared her experience, perorming with her mom in Las Vegas on her Instagram page. She said:
“Last week, my mom, out of nowhere, stopped her show and asked me to come on stage and sing. I think the last time my mom asked me to sing I was 5 or 6 years old,” Tracee wrote to her 1.2 million fans. “I swear at first I thought she said Evan (my brother, a singer, who was also there). But then I realized she said my name, and before I could think, I was walking toward the stage!”
