Recently, sports betting has been a little controversial between FanDuel and DraftKings being banned as legal gambling sites in different states.
Tennessee Titans head coach, Mike Mularkey bet his team a friendly wager to maintain their weight over the Thanksgiving holiday and only one player succeeded.
Mularkey had each of his players weigh in on Thursday morning and asked his players to maintain their weight over the food filled holiday. The wager wasn’t anything crazy, just a measly $50, but only one player was able to stuff his face and not gain a pound.
In fact, guard Chance Warmack, actually lost a pound after his Thanksgiving feast.
Warmach weighed 327 pounds on Thursday morning, but when he returned the next day, he numbers on the scale read 326.
The Tennessean reported,
“At a team meeting Friday morning he asked if everyone was confident they’d maintained their weight. Guard Chance Warmack raised his hand, so Mularkey invited him down in front of the group for a congratulatory bonus of $50.”
We’re not sure how exactly someone of Warmack’s stature was able to actually lose a pound on the one day where gaining weight is acceptable, but shout out to Warmack who is no $50 richer.
