Yesterday Kendrick Lamer and J.Cole both gifted the fans with their own holiday presents in honor of Black Friday, with each artist dropping remixes to each other’s songs.
If you missed out J. Cole remixed Kendrick’s “Alright” and Kendrick remixed Cole’s “A Tale Of 2 Citiez”.
The hopeful future duo boast that the rap game is not ready for them to collaborate for a highly fan-anticipated album together. But, Kendrick Lamar’s sister Kayla Duckworth, took to Instagram with a post that suggests otherwise.
In Cole’s track he did imply he was dropping something in February, but was secretive on what that would be. An album? A single? A collab with his boy Kendrick? At this point whatever J.Cole or Kendrick Lamar drop is set to reset bars they create for not just themselves, but every rapper as a whole.
Kendrick’s sister quickly took down her IG post that stated Feb. 16 a “collab” was coming, but website WatchOut was quick enough to snag a screen shot and now it’s going viral. We’ve got the screenshot in the gallery.
