Everybody loves the classic movie Wizard of Oz but apparently some love it a bit more than others!

At Bonham’s and Turner Classic Movies Hollywood memorabilia auction in NYC on Monday, Dorothy’s famous blue and white dress was sold for $1.56 million dollars. The gingham dress was made specially for Judy Garland for when she played the role of Dorothy back in 1939.

The dress was reported to be in good condition minus the sweat stains around the neck. It was projected to sell for between $800K-$1.2M.

The buyer still remains unidentified.
