The Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Portland Trailblazers 107-93 on Sunday, dropping them to 2-11 and the bottom of the Western Conference. The Golden State Warriors on the other hand beat the Denver Nuggets 118-105 on Sunday, bringing them to an NBA record tying (1993-94 Houston Rockets & 1948-49 Washington Capitols) 15-0 start at not only the top of the Western Conference but leading the league overall. On Tuesday night the Lakers and Warriors will face off. It’s expected by many that the Warriors will win and move up to a record breaking 16-0 start but can the Lakers pull off the upset?

“I’ve seen stranger things happen,” Kobe Bryant said. “We’ve been playing like (expletive), we might just play like gangbusters up there. You never know.”
Nick Young said he’s looking forward to playing in what could be a historic game on national television.
“I think we should go in with the mindset of wrecking it,” Young said. “I think it would mean a lot for our confidence to go inside Golden State and we know that game means a lot to them, and put them out of their misery.
“We don’t like Golden State, neither.”
It might sound like a long shot but often it’s the team you least expect that puts an end to the win streak. Either the hot team plays down to their competition or the win streak just becomes too difficult to maintain.
Still with all that said, the Warriors could still of course easily win this game.
