Football in general, is one of those sports where literally anything can happen. Coming into this college football season, Ohio State was projected to be a forceful threat after taking the 2014 BCS National Championship.
Though the team is currently 10-1, the Buckeyes have struggled tremendously to keep their team on top and are currently being called the most overrated team in the country.
Ohio State is on the hot seat after crumbling in their first loss to No.9 Michigan State.
Going into the fourth quarter, the Michigan State Spartans were down by only one touchdown to tie the game. After putting up seven and a huge 3rd and 2 conversion with just 39 seconds left in the game, the Spartans left it up to kicker, Michael Geiger.
Geiger kicked the pigskin 41-yards to seal the deal and bring his team to another victory with only 3 seconds left to play.
The Ohio State players have clearly been feeling short changed and have even gone far enough to blame the loss on coaching.
Buckeye running back, Ezekiel Elliot expressed his frustrations saying,
“I mean there’s no chance of me coming back next year. I got to make the most of my time left.”
Cardale Jones also tweeted some suspicious messages hinting to his departure.
“Last time walking down them steps and into The Shoe, wish the results were different tho.”
The Ohio State program will have to get their stuff together if they expect to continue on the path of legacy that comes with the Buckeye brand.
