What has gotten into these people. A man has been charged with sexually assaulting a unconscious woman when he was suppose to jut be her Uber driver! Just sick! The man is being charged with two counts of sexual assault after following the young woman and her friend to their hotel room.
Uber states that they do screen an do background checks on their drivers before allowing them to work. There was a recent lawsuit against Uber stating that the company markets woman under the influence and puts woman at risk.
On Halloween, two woman called arranged for a Uber to pick them up. The driver,Luis Galeano-Bedon, gave the woman his personal cell phone number for them to call when they were ready for him to pick them up. They did what he said and called when they were to go back to their hotel.
The driver told one of the woman to sit in the front of the minivan. She had fallen asleep and awakened to the driver penetrating her vagina with his fingers. Disgusting! He tried to get the woman to let him in their hotel room. One of the woman started recording him with her phone which is when he covered his face.
The driver was arrested. He says that the woman were very intoxicated. The investigation is still pending.
