An astronaut who is currently in space woke up to not only the sunrise, but what he and the International Space Station are now believing is a UFO. Pics and story after the jump.
Astronaut Scott Kelly has been in space for 230 plus days now, breaking the record for the longest time spent in space, on his mission of making it to at least a year not on earth. Kelly now tweets of an unidentified flying object over southern India, appearing in the right hand corners of the photos.
Kelly has been sending photos of his journey down to Earth while airborne and has now caught the attention of UFO hunter sonofmabarker. The hunter created a video talking about the pictures and commented:
“In the upper right of the photo you can clearly see a large object with two lights on each end. It also appears to be very large and constructed.”
UFO Sightings Daily website’s, Scott Waring calculates the mysterious object seems to be about 82 feet long and between 492 and 981 feet away. He than notes:
“Scott Kelly likes to send out photos of the view from the windows of the space station … and they look cool. This one however has a cigar shaped glowing UFO with a metallic body in it. It looks like Scott was trying to hint at the existence of aliens. Message received Scott, and thanks.”
The UFO could possibly be a reflection in the Space Station’s window or floating “space debris”. NASA Administrator, Charles Bolden, previously commented that little is being done to “clean up” space.
