The Boston Celtics defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 100-85 on Sunday. Marcus Smart was an integral part of the win, putting up 26 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists. Following the game, Russell Westbrook who put up 27 points but was 5/20 from the field, was asked about Smart who “physically can sort of match up with you, to some degree,” according to a reporter. “Was there anything special about the way he played tonight?” Well Russy wasn’t willing to gush over Smart and threw his own Westbrook cockiness in there.
“Uh, no. I don’t agree with you, but no. He had a good game…82 games. I do this. Don’t get it twisted.”
The reporter tried to clarify, but Westbrook wasn’t having it.
“Don’t get it twisted…We’ll see him again.”
