Following and tragedy that happened in Paris earlier this year Trump twisted the horrific events as an opportunity for political gain in his presidential campaign. No one said anything they, but today . . . Frank Ocean got time!

Just a day after the attacks in Paris, an old tweet of Donald Trump’s is back in the spotlight. Shortly after the Charlie Hebdo massacre that took place in Paris this past January, Trump took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the events that occurred and the long debated topic of gun control.

Isn’t it interesting that the tragedy in Paris took place in one of the toughest gun control countries in the world?

The remark not only highlights Trumps insensitive nature, but it gives an idea of where this country is headed if Trump wins the presidential election.

This ignorant statement being back in the spotlight was enough to bring Frank Ocean out of hibernation and tear Trump to shreds. Not too long after Trump’s comments came back into question, Ocean responded via Tumblr in the ULTIMATE read:

ON THE REAL THOUGH DONALD TRUMP. HOW IS IT ‘INTERESTING’ THAT THESE SHOOTINGS HAPPENED IN A COUNTRY THAT’S TOUGH ON GUNS? TELL US DON? BECAUSE IT SOUNDS LIKE THAT VACUOUS OBSERVATION WAS ABOUT GIVING YOUR NRA-LOVING CONSTITUENCY A HANDJOB AND SPINNING A TRAGEDY FOR POLITICAL GAIN AND I’M THINKING MAYBE USING A SITUATION WHERE DOZENS OF INNOCENTS HAVE JUST BEEN MURDERED IN THE STREETS ISN’T THE BEST TIME. NO?

LOVE TO PARIS AND ANY INDIVIDUAL OR FAMILY WHO’S LOST LOVED ONES TO EVIL ANYWHERE IN THIS WORLD. CHILL W/ THE ANGLES.

Can’t help but sing his praises after a response like this, regardless of how late it came. Not only was it well said, but it gives a voice to the people without a voice. It’s always amazing to see celebrities put their platform to good use.

So the next question is, was he yelling at Trump? The caps give us the yelling vibe, if so it’s well deserved by the unlikely presidential candidate. Job well done Frank Ocean!
