The Empire State Building dimmed it’s bright light that towers over the city Friday and kept it dark on Saturday as well. Saturday was the second night in a row for the 102 story New York landmark to not illuminate the sky.

The World’s Trade Center (Freedom Tower) also showed it’s sympathy for one of our nation’s best allies, France, by boasting the country flag’s colors – blue, white, and red. One World Trade Center upholds a 408 foot spire atop the skyscraper, which will remain lit in France’s colors throughout Sunday, according to New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.

New York City’s Mayor Bill de Blasio also stated an arch in Manhattan’s Washington Square Park was lit up in our country’s support in the PrayforParis campaign.

The investigation is ongoing to find the terrorists directly responsible for the mayhem in France’s capital, as U.S officials already have several leads in the over 900 ISIS cases that are currently open. Until than, our country’s leaders including our president, governors and mayors continue to show support in this difficult time for Paris.
