Good ol’ Donald Trump. Forever knowing what to say right? Following the horrible Paris attacks this weekend, Donald Trump states his two cents on what could have eliminated this horrible attack. His answer was…Drumroll Please….more guns smh. As if we need anymore of those.
While speaking at a rally in Beaumont, Texas, Trump states that more guns would have helped in the Paris attacks. Paris actually has one of the toughest laws when it comes to guns. Trump went on to say.
“You can say what you want, but if they had guns—if our people had guns, if they were allowed to carry—it would have been a much, much different situation.”
Heartless Trump also went on to say that the United States would be completely insane to go and shelter the Syrian refugees who are fighting to get away from the Isis fighters. Clearly Trump has no sympathy for these people. Even if the United States don’t shelter them themselves, there are alternatives to try and help keep these people safe. Bringing them to the United States would be very risky and bringing the problem straight to our doorstep, but have a little sympathy for these people Trump.
Beaumont Police Officer, John Courts says,
“Bringing those refugees here is very dangerous. Yeah, they need help but it’s going to bring terrorism right into our front door.”
Although Trump held a moment of silence for the Paris attacks upon starting his speech, right after he went on to of course bash President Obama for his way of handling the islamic state. Trump says the aggression level in the U.S. needs to go up.
