Moore messaged the person he thought was a 14-year old girl while he worked. For example,
- “Sitting in a box office style booth checking ID’s for entrance into a building…”
- “…black tactical pants, a long sleeve polo, and my vest.”
Meanwhile, a government agent posed as the message recipient. The government began by placing Moore on administrative leave, like a high school detention. Moore did not realize they were his messenging partner.
The White House said, “On that same date the employee’s security clearance was suspended and the employee was placed on administrative leave. All Secret Service issued equipment was retrieved and the employees access to all Secret Service facilities was terminated.”
