DeAndre Jordan returned to Dallas Wednesday night as he and the Clippers played the Mavericks and as expected, he didn’t receive a warm welcome. Numerous fans held up signs clowning his freethrow percentage and comparing it to him not keeping his word. As you know, Jordan took free agency by storm this past summer when he made an agreement to join the Mavericks then later changed his mind and decided to re-sign with the Los Angeles Clippers.
Following the Mavericks 118-108 win over the Clippers, the Mavericks’ Twitter page took a shot at Jordan and the Clippers using several emojis to send them home, poking fun at the emojis the Clippers infamously used when they went to Jordan’s house to convince him to stay with the team.
Chandler Parsons was an integral part of recruiting Jordan to the Mavericks and seems to hold the same scorn as Mavericks owner Mark Cuban. Parsons noticed Jordan’s reduced role in the game – fourth among Clippers in minutes (27), seventh in points (nine), eighth in shots (five) – and took a shot a him.
