113 women in 28 states are suing Qualitest Pharmeceuticals for incorrectly packaged birth control pills. In 2011, Qualitest actually recalled their birthcontrol for improper packaging. These women are suing for up to the full cost of raising a child. Hit the jump to find out more.

These 113 say they would not have gotten pregnant if the pills were packaged correctly. They got pregnant before the recall occurred.
Qualitest already admitted to improperly packaging the pills in 2011 during a recall for this reason. The pills got rotated 180 degree during packaging. So, women took the monthly placebo sugar pill at the wrong times.
ABC News Senior Medical Contributor Dr. Jennifer Ashton says this mistake could have resulted in up to two weeks every month of zero birth control. She said the rotation would affect hormone levels and produce a lack of ovulation suppression.
Meanwhile, Endo Pharmaceuticals (which owns Qualitest) says because the pills were manufactured at a factory owned by another company, Endo will not take responsibility. However, due to the recall precedent the women will likely settle out of court to say the least.
