Since her first appearance on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Khloe has been nicknamed “the fat one,” but what other people thought had no baring on the reality star’s change in appearance over the past few months. During her latest photoshoot with Yahoo Style – shot by Eric Ray Davidson – the 31-year-old admits, “I could have lost weight six years ago.” It’s just that, “I don’t want to do something for somebody else.” The 35+ pound weight loss was for herself.

Khloe talks to Yahoo Style about her upcoming book, Strong Looks Better Naked, in-which she opens about her multiple topics, including loving her inner self.

She said being on the show made her take a second look at her body, and because she was labeled as the sister with more to love, she would pull an Eminem and point out her flaws before anyone else could. “I would almost beat them to the punch. In interviews I was like “I know I’m the funny fat one.'”

Even with a new look, she remains herself. “I’m a good person. I’ve only changed physically. If Instagram were to take a picture of your soul, what would that look like? I know my soul is beautiful, I know I’m a good person,” she says.
