Quiet as kept, Big Sean is really doing his thing out here! He may not receive AS much recognition as some of his peers, but he’s always consistently come with a hit song, and it’s resonating in sales for sure.
Forbes reports today that in just October alone, the G.O.O.D. Music rapper received not one, but two gold plaques – one for the sales of his meaningful ballad “One Man Can Change The World,” the other for his Mike Will Made It-produced “Paradise.” Prior to that, the Drake-featured smash “Blessings” earned RIAA platinum status this summer, as did his 2012 throwaway single, “Guap.” (Guess the latter was a slow burner.) Oh, and as for his biggest hit to date, “IDFWU”? It went triple platinum in September – a year to the day of its original release.

Looking ahead, Sean has two more singles on the Hot 100 right now, the Ty Dolla $ign and Chris Brown-assisted “Play No Games,” and a feature on DeJ Loaf‘s “Back Up.” Both of which, Forbes predicts will add to his RIAA plaques by year’s end.
Other platinum RIAA certifications for October include two of my favorite people – Nicki Minaj with “The Night Is Still Young” and Ty Dolla $ign with “Or Nah.” Congrats to all!
