Amonderez Green was an 18 year old boy who was killed recently after a confrontation with police near Ferguson. People desperately want answers after they were put under the impression that Green committed suicide. In a horrifying video of the shooting, you can clearly her Green screaming for police to spare his life as he screams, “Don’t kill me.”
Green’s cousin tells sources that the family is hurt and very confused as to what happened to her cousin. Many eyewitnesses claim they heard Green screaming, “Don’t kill me.” Police claim that Green fired several shots at them, and shot himself in the chin. They also claim that family members came to them saying he was suicidial. Police claim they tried to talk to Green when he pulled out a gun from his hip and started to fire at them. An officer pulled out a taser gun but after that didn’t work he then pulled out his gun. The officer fired three shots as Green ran. The officer claim he lost sight of Green and then heard one last shot. Green was pronounced dead at 4:29AM on Thursday. The only wound shown by examiners was the one that they claim was “self inflicted.”
The story takes a dramatic change as witnesses say this is not wha happened. A woman claims she was looking out the window of her home when she saw Green trying to turn around to face police. That was the moment when one of the cops shot him in the face.
“We heard approximately six gunshots ring out. I yelled and told my daughter to get down,”
said the witness.
“He was right at eye level as [the officer] shot him. It was not a suicide. At all.”
Another woman, Dominique Clemons also claimed she watched the whole thing.
“While he was running, he turned around to face the police and that’s when he got shot in the face. I saw his body drop. They shot him in the face, his whole right side of his face was gone, his top lip was gone.”
The family requested a second autopsy on their loved one. They released a statement about him saying,
“Amonderez was sweet, hardworking and loved his life. We will not cease until justice is brought forth and the complete truth is sought. We are not satisfied with the police investigation at this point, but we hold in our hearts that the truth about his death will come to light. We, the immediate family of Amonderez Green, ask that in this time your thoughts and prayers are with Lakea, his mother, and his siblings. We will release further statements when more details are revealed. Thank you.”
