Adele is very, very lit right now. The superstar singer hasn’t released an album since 2011’s 21, so the hype around the forthcoming 25 is insane. So much so, early sales projections based on pre-orders have the first week numbers looking to be in the realm of 1.3 to 1.8 million! Yes, million! This would make for the biggest debut from a female artist of all time, beating out the record previously held by Britney Spears when Oops!…. I Did It Again sold 1.5 million in its first week in 2000.
N*Sync holds the record for the biggest first week sales of all time with 2.4 million copies sold, though – do you think Adele could beat that? I wouldn’t be surprised! Pre-order 25 on iTunes here. The album hits stores November 20.
