Congrats are in order for my boy Machine Gun Kelly! He has the number 1 hip-hop in the country this week with the debut of his sophomore album General Admission, and the number 4 album overall! The project sold a solid 56k units in its first week in stores, and beating 2012’s Lace Up, which debuted and peaked at number 4 with 51k sold.
The Game comes in at 6 with The Documentary 2.5 selling 48k, which is pretty dope – considering last week’s The Documentary also sold really well. In the coming weeks, the Compton rapper will package them together as a joint album.
