Can the presidents daughter have fun without people judging her ? Malia Obama is at the stage where she is touring colleges so she can soon make a decision as to where she will be going. Unfortunately, her visit to Brown University tuned upside down when she was photographed playing beer pong at a party.
The photos were leaked to several mainstream websites. Don’t really understand why it’s such a big deal but…
Brown took to their own newspaper to apologize to Malia for their actions. The named the paper “Sorry Malia Obama.” People truly don’t understand the pressure that this girl is going through. Being the president’s daughter is a lot of work itself and then on top of that having to decide which college is the best for you with the pressure of the world on your shoulders, the Obama girls don’t have it easy.
The Brown newspaper said,
“It is a shame that Malia was unable to visit Brown and enjoy herself at a party without several news headlines coming out about it the next day. While it is understandable that so many students were excited about her visit, it is likely that few of us would enjoy having strangers take pictures of us while we were unaware and post them on the Internet…Malia did not choose to grow up in the White House, and it is unfair that everything she does at just 17 years old is subject to such harsh scrutiny.”
The Brown students say that next time they will have “more chill.”
