Hurricane Patricia will touch Mexican shores tonight. Already, premature flooding made Texas’ cars float. Experts expect many families to lose their homes. Ten millions people live in the hurricane’s path. The storm’s winds break records with 263mph recorded over the ocean. Hit the jump for the forecast.

Officials currently debate whether Bolivar Peninsula should evacuate. Tarranty County, Texas also sees massive rainfall and flooding. However, this storm should affect less people than Mexico’s May 2015 storm.
The National Weather Service says, “Heaviest rains are expected late (tonight) through Saturday night with the heavy rain threat expected to shift east on Sunday.”
Meanwhile, by 8am today around 100 flights out of Dallas/ Fort Worth airport got canceled. Most truckers and tourists preemptively evacuated, and many vehicles are stranded en route.
