Tsk Tsk. While I do not have the actual data on the longevity of relationships that began via social media, I can guess-ta-mate that 99.99% of them fail within the first year. Ol’ Saved By The Bell actress, Lark Voorhies proves me right with the news that she and husband, Jimmy Green, are now on their way to divorce court.

After meeting on Facebook (of all the other social media platforms) a year prior, Voorhies and Green decided to get hitched in April. One minute the pair were enjoying their Vegas wedding and the next thing you know … divorce is an option.

Lark is requesting that the courts deny her husband any spousal support.

After speaking with TMZ, Green admits that if he had the knowledge to do so, he would have filed papers before Lark got the chance to. He claims that from the jump the two had relationship problems and Lark’s mother was number one on the list.

Back in July, it was reported that Lark’s mom had filed a restraining order on Green with the fear that he would cause physical harm to her daughter.

Despite the lack of enthusiasm coming from Lark’s family, Green was happy (or at least pretended to be) at the time. “We’re the same as any other couple out there that’s in love and trying to accomplish business together. It’s not a scam or a way to get money,” he mentioned during an interview, and Lark was right by his side.

Hmm … everyone is singing a new tune now.
