The Texas Longhorns are one of the top programs as far as talent and pride go. While every school has their fans, the Longhorns pack the stadium and hold up their horns (fingers), while decked out in burnt orange. But after an upset victory over the Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday, it was the team who caught our attention.
The Longhorns are 2-4 this season, so you can imagine that when they beat the No. 10 Sooners on Saturday afternoon that there would definitely be a celebration. To keep tradition alive, the players gathered around their coach, slapping his back and yelling. Then came the Gatorade.
The players lifted the barrel and drenched, head coach, Charlie Strong. He responded by joining the celebration and it was well deserved.
The final score for the Texas-Oklahoma matchup was 24-17.
