Congratulations, Drake!
The official SoundScan report for the first three quarters of 2015 came out this week and revealed that Drake holds the spot for the top selling digital album of the year, with his ‘If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late’ album.

Alongside Drake a few of the other top-sellers include Taylor Swift for her 1989 album selling the most over all with 2.4 million copies and Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk” being the highest selling single since it’s release with 5 million units sold.
The numbers also revealed more interesting facts about the way music has been sold this year. While album sales are still on the decline, it has slowed down since 2014. Digital sales are also declining, 1% since last year, however streaming is on the rise with over 230 billion since the beginning of 2015.
