A 62-year-old man was fatally struck by the L train in Brooklyn after falling off of the platform and onto the tracks.

The man stumbled onto the tracks just seconds before a northbound L train entered the Wilson Avenue station in Bushwick.

The man was pronounced dead on the scene. It is unclear why or how the man fell onto the tracks and into the train’s path, but so far police do not suspect any criminal activity involved in the death.

No information has been released about the victim yet.
