We all know about Pac and Madonna already, so no – this is not about her! This is about Jewel, the popular 90s singer who gave us hits like “Who Will Save Your Soul” and “Foolish Games.” It’s quite the unlikely pairing, and though it didn’t happen, it almost did – according to a new interview.

While appearing on Access Hollywood to promote her new book Never Broken – Songs Are Only Half The Story, Jewel reminisced on some stories from her past that are in the memoir, and one includes a weekend almost spend with Tupac in Vegas…yes, THAT fateful weekend.

“He was killed a couple days later, I guess I could have been on that trip,” Jewel said about Tupac inviting her to Vegas with him just says before he passed.
