The fact that this headline even exists tells me that no matter how great of a football player Tom Brady is, we might have to reconsider just how in touch with the world he is. Further, the fact that he can support someone like Donald Trump who continues to make racist, sexist, and outright nonsensical statements about various topics, speaks volumes to the type of person Tom may be off the field. Tom was recently asked whether or not he would be voting for Donald Trump and his answer was….not surprising?
Tom Brady has let it be known that he and Donald Trump are actually really good friends. Apparently, the two have played golf together and Tom goes as far to support the Donald by having one of his “Make America Great Again” hats in his locker/changing area in the Patriots locker room. I’m not sure about anyone else, but how can someone have friends that don’t have similar thoughts and interests? Hmmm Tom. You want to tell us something?
Tom Brady gave a typical response when he was asked if he intends on voting for Donald Trump in the next presidential election.
Tom On Voting Trump:
“I mean, look, I’ve known him for a long time. He’s been a fun guy that I’ve had a lot of time around. The fact that he’s running has obviously led to a lot of stories and debates and rating were huge for all those Republican debates and so forth. One way or another, it’s far away from when the election will be. Whatever I vote is going to be my own personal choice based on how I feel…”
“MMMMMM Oh My god! Why you always lying,” is exactly what I would have said to Tom Brady following his response to the question. Why are certain people so afraid to tell who they are voting for? Is it because they fear backlash from those they associate and/or work with? I believe in transparency and I have never understood the whole idea behind being so secretive about placing a vote for the president or any other level in politics. To me, it just seems like those people want to avoid healthy dialogue from those that may or may not agree with their choice.
Is it fair to say that Tom is probably going to vote for Donald Trump?
