People are way too sensitive! Paul Pierce was feeling the wrath of Kobe stans on twitter after he took somewhat of a playful shot at the Black Mamba.

Pierce knows his role with the Clippers will be much different than his time with the Celtics, Nets & Wizards. He is far removed from being “that guy” although he did make some huge plays in the playoffs and last season alone to make you remember he can still get it done when it’s clutch time.
Pierce at this point is good with being a role player on a talented team but he doesn’t think Kobe will be able to accept a reduced role himself this season.
“That will be tough on some guys in L.A. to take on that role *cough* Kobe *cough* I mean, you know, but um, we get older.”
As you can see, it wasn’t a very serious comment about Kobe but that was all twitter needed to go off on him. To be real, what Pierce is saying is very true. With Kobe’s competitive nature, it will be interesting to see how he interacts with the younger generation of Lakers while deciding if he is going to ride off into the sunset.
